In the Arts & Crafts tradition with nature as a central theme, leaves and trees have been a special focus at North Prairie. Whether it is the Leaf Mosaic on the entry way floor at St. Johns Hospital in Maplewood , MN or the special set of tiles depicting the Boundary Waters Canoe Area,  or trees created for a board member of the American Chestnut Foundation, tiles associated with trees have been a long-time favorite subject.
